Influences: tried everything from Ragtime to racket and as a result have not got any better in the last twenty five years of playing.

Originally from Yorkshire, came to Nottingham as a student in the late seventies. Unfortunately,my passport has been lost and have been stranded in the midlands ever since!

Born: in the Welsh Valleys.

Likes: have a huge passion for Soul and Disco Music.

Love listening to Earth Wind & Fire, Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley, The Beautiful South,Courtney Pine, and Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.

Bands: Previously have played in The Commandments Soul & Blues Band, the Soulburners,The lighthouse Gospel Band, The Steve White Band and am currently playing in a seven piece soul band called Souled Up

Hobbies: When not found doing something musical I can be found with my better half surfing the rapids in a Canadian canoe or tap dancing (but not at the same time).
